{"id":51,"date":"2009-07-24T14:06:20","date_gmt":"2009-07-24T18:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gregkrehbiel.com\/marketing\/?p=51"},"modified":"2009-07-24T14:09:15","modified_gmt":"2009-07-24T18:09:15","slug":"overwhelmed-by-white-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gregkrehbiel.com\/marketing\/2009\/07\/24\/overwhelmed-by-white-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"Overwhelmed by white papers?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am. <\/p>\n<p>I read a lot of them, but not nearly as many as I&#8217;d like to. <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s lots of good information out there, and I&#8217;m sure it would help me in my daily work, but I&#8217;m too busy with my daily work to read the things. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure this is true for lots of other professionals in other organizations, which leads me to this odd thought. <\/p>\n<p>If I was a CEO I think I&#8217;d find a young &#8220;idea guy&#8221; and hire him to do three things &#8212; and only three things. <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Read every white paper he can find that&#8217;s applicable to my business, <\/li>\n<li> Sit in on every meeting he can, and <\/li>\n<li> Keep a working &#8220;best practices&#8221; document on every functional area of the business. <\/ol>\n<p>I suspect that the increased efficiency would far more than pay his salary. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am.
